It is well known that effective teams deliver far more than collections of individuals. We design and deliver workshops to create greater team cohesion. Each team building workshop is tailored to meet the specific needs of the team.

Previous workshops have focused on the following:

  • Learn about each other’s preferred style of working and behaviour
  • Develop a deeper level of understanding of the team’s strengths and ‘gaps’
  • Enhance communication within and outside the team
  • Agree and work towards shared team goals
  • Explore approaches to coping with stress and change as a team

Having worked with many psychometric tools we now tend to use Lumina Spark as the basis for team workshops. Lumina Spark is the next generation of professional development tools supporting individuals, teams and organisations to work more effectively. It is unique amongst psychometric tools because it avoids any stereotyping, as it doesn’t label people or put them in a box. However, it does provide a highly interactive colourful framework for better self-understanding and helps people identify how to improve their working relationships with others.

Team workshops usually involve completing individual Lumina Spark portraits and one-to-one feedback sessions with participants beforehand to understand their profile and gauge their perceptions of current performance and possible areas for improvement. The individual portraits feed into an interactive profile of the team which shows where and how everybody fits into the team; how the team and its members may respond to different situations and any potential areas for improvement to heighten performance.

Lasting anything from half a day to two days Enhance Potential Team workshops typically include some theoretical input and several practical exercises to encourage learning to be taken back to the workplace.
